A cute spooky Halloween treat. These Spooky Mummy Brownies offer quick prep, maximum fun, and guaranteed smiles. They bring festive charm without complicated decorating techniques. Share them at your Halloween celebration and enjoy every deliciously spooky bite.

How to make these Cute & Spooky Mummy Brownies?

These brownies can be made very quickly and are super fun to decorate. Here is how you can make them.

  1. Whole Wheat Brownies – Start with a rich, fudgy brownie base. I used my Whole Wheat Brownies recipe, but you can use any brownie recipe you love—or even store-bought ones if you’re short on time. Just make sure the brownies are completely cooled before decorating.
  2. Mascarpone Cheese – Prepare a batch of Homemade Mascarpone or use ready-made mascarpone. Transfer about 80–100 grams of it into a piping bag fitted with a small round nozzle. If the mascarpone feels too thick to pipe, whisk it briefly until smooth and creamy.
  3. Decorating the Mummies – Slice the brownies into 9 equal squares or rectangles. Pipe zig-zag lines of mascarpone across each brownie to create mummy bandages. Add two chocolate chips or edible sugar eyes near the top for that spooky stare. Chill the brownies for 10–15 minutes to help the mascarpone set before serving.

These Cute and Spooky Mummy Brownies are the perfect no-fuss Halloween dessert—adorable, delicious, and guaranteed to disappear fast!

Tips for Perfect Mascarpone Mummies

• Keep the brownies fully cooled to prevent mascarpone melting.
• Create uneven ribbon lines for a more realistic wrapped effect.
• If serving outdoors, refrigerate the brownies until the last moment.

Storing

Serve slightly chilled for the cleanest ribbon effect. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Decorate as close to serving time as possible for the freshest look.
